The music from Raging silence is rather heavy than prog, with some leanings towards hard rock but ok in the end, nice keyboard interplays and good guitar riffs and harmonies, some of the good pieces are: Hold Your Head Up (this is a Argent cover) but sounds very good in Heep's sound, Cry Freedom and my fav piece from here Lifeline/5.

She told the story I listened with my eyes closed So sad but so true She whispered softly I asked her why she did so She knew that I knew She was a skater The ice was her second home The country's finest Everyone could see She had a plan To break across the border Instead of waiting for The powers that be Cry freedom, sweet freedom Tell the whole world To get ready Cry freedom, sweet freedom.

As there was little promotion outside the bikers clubs who organised the event, very few real Uriah Heep fans were in the audience. Although Uriah Heep were to have a stable band once Shaw and Lanzon had joined, recording deals that were satisfactory for the band were far from abundant.

Corporate rock items like "Cry Freedom" and "Blood Red Roses" are mildly catchy, and a cover of Argent's "Hold Your Head Up" is pleasant enough. But even so, Raging Silence pales in comparison to classics like 's Look at Yourself and 's Demons and Wizards. Not a disaster but certainly unremarkable, this CD is strictly for completists.4/

Sep 01,  · Raging Silence is the 17th album by British Rock group Uriah Heep. It marked the studio debut of Canadian vocalist Bernie Shaw and keyboardist Phil Lanzon, both of whom have remained with the band since. It was produced by Richard Dodd and the title is an allusion to the Manfred Mann's Earth Band album The Roaring Silence/5(7).

Oct 08,  · This is the Uriah Heep 20th anniversary concert recorded in , finally released on CD/DVD. A great show with lots of energy by one of the world's must under-rated, unknow yet greatest bands. No one can match the masterful, beautiful guitar work of founder Mick Box, in my opinion the greatest guitarist of all time/5(4).
